Remy hair essentially refers to the characteristics of the hair as well as the method used to manufacture and assemble the hair extensions.
Remy hair has the hair follicles all go in one direction from root to tip. It can’t deny that this hair provides a natural look, feel and smooth texture, which is comparable to one’s own hair. Remy human hair weave is a good hair type, in which all hair strands stay aligned in the natural direction as it grew to ensure the natural feel, pattern, texture and cuticle direction. It is eliminated tangling and matting, unlike non-Remy or low-quality hair. It also guarantees that the Remy hair remains super soft and naturally silky with a healthy shine throughout its lifetime.
All MCSARA Hair extensions are made of 100% remy human hair, which has been carefully sorted after collecting to ensure the highest quality. MCSARA Hair offers the widest selection of weave hair extensions as well as, clip-ins, tape-ins, keratin hair and bulk bundles. Check out these types of hair extenions via link. The clip-ins, tape-ins offer a trendsetting solution for those looking to enhance their look on a more occasional basis where the keratin hair, bulk bundles and weaves are ideal for longer wear. This type of hair will bring to you the natural look because the hair is going the direction it is supposed to. High-quality hair extensions are produced from Remy hair. Remy hair extensions are the most popular human hair products on the market due to its quality and price. But at MCSARA, we only use 100% virgin hair for making hair extensions.
Both Virgin Hair and Remy hair are 100% natural human hair. Remy hair is not necessarily virgin hair because it may be colored or permed. Its defining features are an intact cuticle and the manner in which it was collected. Besides, virgin hair has never been chemically processed. So, it can be said that although all Remy hair is Virgin hair, not all Virgin hair is Remy hair.
What is the difference between remy human hair and non-remy human hair weave?
Remy hair is collected and graded from a variety of sources whose roots and ends move in the same direction to ensure the cuticles are not tangled or blurred and remain aligned in one direction.
Remy hair is more expensive and looks more natural due to the tedious process the hair has to go through in order not to damage the cuticles. Usually, hair is intact or hair has been minimally treated to preserve the integrity of hair with an intact cuticle.
REMY hair has a smoother, shiny, and healthier appearance than NON-REMY. This hair feels great even after repeated washing. Most of our clients can take a year or two with REMY hair that still looks good. The investment is great but well worth it.
Non-Remy Hair is just as popular as other brands, what does it mean? Well, this hair section has the ends and cuticles mixed so that all the strands don’t run in the same direction. Non-Remy Hair has another removal procedure, one that involves scraping the cuticles or sometimes the ends of the hair from donors. The advantage of this option is that it reduces the friction between the strands of hair. The less friction you have, the less tangled your hair will be. But unlike other brands of Remy hair, non-Remy hair has undergone chemical treatment. Non-remy is the hair that does not have its roots aligned (Roots and tips not traveling in the same direction).
Since the epidermis runs in both directions, a higher concentration of acid is required. Ultimately results in hair with very low moisture, resulting in hair as dry as straw.
With non-remy hair, the hair cuticle is often removed due to excessive handling and disturbing entanglement of hair. To conceal this, some manufacturers use heavy silicone to make the hair look shiny and healthy, but be careful as soon as you wash it, the silicone will flake off and the hair becomes a big mess. Some stores will go so far as to make sure the hair is UNTIL you wash it.
Remember, yes, the investment will be much lower, but you will struggle with this hair after your first wash. Hair will look dull after the coating is worn off.
